    Megan Armstrong, A&G Storage Solutions

Megan Armstrong: For the past five years, I’ve been co-owner of A&G Storage alongside my husband and biggest supporter. Together, we own two facilities—one in Blue Ridge, GA and the other in Calhoun, GA. Even though we’ve never been on-site managers, we’ve successfully run both locations 100% remotely without ever compromising on customer service. With our backgrounds in sales and customer care, we’ve built A&G Storage around one simple goal: making storage easy, stress-free, and friendly for everyone who rents with us.

Max Vallotton, Jr., Gate 5 Self Storage

Max Vallotton Jr. is the owner and operator of Gate 5 Self Storage in Augusta, Georgia. He was first introduced to the self-storage industry in 2003 while attending the Self Storage Association (SSA) Developer’s Seminar, an experience that sparked a long-term commitment to the industry. In 2006, Max opened Gate 5 Self Storage, establishing a facility that has since become a respected presence in the Augusta market.

Max’s leadership and dedication to operational excellence were recognized in 2015, when Gate 5 Self Storage earned the Georgia Self Storage Association’s (GASSA) Facility Manager of the Year award. Beyond his own facility, Max has been deeply involved in advancing the self-storage industry at both the state and national levels through service, education, and advocacy.

Within the Georgia Self Storage Association, Max has been an active member since 2005 and has served in numerous leadership and committee roles. These include participation on the Government Relations Committee (2024–2025), the G.O.A.T. (Getting Operators Answers Timely) Committee (2022–2025), and multiple planning committees for the GA/SC Southeastern Self Storage Conference (2023–2025) and the GASSA Holiday Gala (2024–2025). He served as a GASSA Board Member in 2023, President Elect in 2024, and most recently as President in 2025. In addition, Max has shared his industry knowledge as a GASSA speaker in 2014 and 2021.

At the national level, Max has been a member of the Self Storage Association since 2005 and has contributed as a speaker at SSA conferences in Spring 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024. He has also been a guest on the SBOA educational webinar.

Through nearly two decades of involvement, Max Vallotton Jr. has demonstrated a sustained commitment to leadership, education, and advocacy within the self-storage industry, earning respect from peers and contributing meaningfully to the growth and professionalism of the field.
